How does it happen?

The Diamond Thoroughbreds' concept of racehorse syndication is to make it as simple as possible for you the investor. Whether you would like to buy one or several shares in a particular colt or filly which is the traditional 'one person - one horse' scenario or use the Diamond Thoroughbreds strategy which is to simply invest over a number of racehorses. We are very flexible when it comes to the number of shares and the number of horses that a client would like to invest into. This will be subject to a clients budget and we will work with you in tailoring your horse portfolio.

We will always be looking to lower the risk of owning a racehorse. Diamond Thoroughbreds is about giving syndicate members a higher chance of success by owning well bred, professionally selected horses. When you invest into a share or shares in one or a number of horses there will be year round fun and excitement. Flexible shareholding allows you to select the percentage share that suits your level of interest. Anything from 5% across any number of horses up to as high a percentage as you like. Of course if your budget only allows you to buy one share in one horse we are flexible to accomodate those clients as well.

Obtaining a Share:

The horses in Diamond Thoroughbreds' syndications will always be selected by Anthony Cummings. The purchase price to an owner is inclusive of all fees and expenses, including veterinary, transportation, agistment and insurance plus bonus scheme entry costs (eg. eligibility to contest the Magic Million Series). A Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) with full details of shares on offer is available from Diamond Thoroughbreds - the Authorised Representative, Offeror and Racing Manager, at the above contacts. Shares will only be issued on the application form attached to the PDS. Sire Custodians - the Promoter and Syndicate Manager will register the PDS with Racing NSW.

Registration and Naming:

Syndicate members are all invited to participate in the naming of Diamond Thoroughbreds' racehorses by submitting your selections to Lachlan Wilson. Lachlan will be responsible for the registration of all horses with the RacingNSW, with a maximum of ten owners being included in the race book.

Training/Management Responsibilities:

All decisions relating to the training of the Diamond Thoroughbreds horses will be the responsibility of Anthony Cummings while Lachlan will handle all communications and be responsible for liaison between the trainer and syndicate members through the client section of the web site, e-mail or phone/fax etc.

Our information will include:

Regular updates of training.
Reports on trials and races.
Direct contact with syndicate members on; race dates, venue and time, barriers and jockeys.
Syndicate members direct, secure access to information on their horses.
Stable open days to meet the owners at a BBQ.
Trackwork and breakfast sessions.

Breaking In & Spelling

All of the Diamond Thoroughbreds team will be educated at the very best of spelling farms in and around Sydney and Melbourne, by some of the industry's most reputable horse-breakers. They will also avail themselves to the excellent agistment facilities at these farm's prior to entering Anthony's stables at Royal Randwick. These properties will also be utilised for client open days including parade of horses and entertaining.

Be Part of the Action

Stable visits are always very welcome by our clients and any other interested party. We encourage owners to be involved where ever possible with their horses. Tuesday mornings is a 'track work and breakfast' session. Come and see your horse(s) work at around 7.00am and then back to the stables and offices for coffee/tea & toast. Inspect your horse have a chat to Anthony and discuss the program he has set out for your thoroughbred.
