Diamond Thoroughbreds
is an Authorised Representative #256618 of Sire Custodians
and is the Offeror of shares in Racehorse Syndications.
Sire Custodians Ltd is the Promoter that holds an Australian
Financial Services Licence #223671. This licence allows
us to Promote and Offer Horse Racing Syndicates to the
general public, that will be registered with Racing
NSW via a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
Diamond Thoroughbreds has created a superior offering
of racehorse syndication through the combined complimentary
skills and experience of Anthony Cummings (racehorse
selecting, training / racing and breeding) and Lachlan Wilson (business management, marketing
and sales). Client liaison, communication and services
will be provided via a superior, secure web site. This
will free up Anthony's time to concentrate on producing
winners at the racetrack.
Lachlan has been involved in sales and business management for quite some time now. During this time he has developed exceptional skills in sales and business development, with a focus on building strong client relationships.
The
face of racehorse syndication in Australia is changing
with new financial service regulations coming into
place in 2004. Diamond Thoroughbreds, through Lachlan,
will be perfectly placed to deal with these new rules
and regulations as he has done throughout the entirety
of his business career.
Lachlan fully understands the issues
relating to compliance, disclosure and professionalism
in dealing with clients. His passion for racing has
led him to Diamond Thoroughbreds.
He
has "been there and done that" as far as ownership
is concerned, being associated with numerous city winners including Danehill Smile the exciting 5 length winner of the $500,000 Inglis Classic, Zeinab & Subreilly.
"The thrill and excitement of seeing
your horse participate in a race has been infectious
and I want to share those experiences with others so
that they too can feel the excitement".
A personalised service will be a feature
of the Diamond Thoroughbreds offerings with Lachlan
handling all communications leaving Anthony Cummings
to select, train and plan the futures of the racing
stable.
Anthony Cummings, married with four children, has been involved in racing literally all of his life being the son of legendary trainer J.B. (Bart) Cummings
He is, in fact, a third generation trainer and racing stables were his "class rooms" from a very early age. It was hardly surprising that, after a successful education, he made horse training his chosen career.
Anthony continually researches the yearling catalogues and inspects the majority of his selections at their respective studs prior to the major sales before making a final decision at the sales venues. He has one of the sharpest eyes for a potential top liner and you are always guaranteed a well conformed animal when selected by Anthony Cummings
Anthony has selected yearslings who have gone on to Group & Listed success such as:
* Might and Power - Champion racehorse and Winner of $5.2 Million in prizemoney
* Defier
* Teranaba
* Outback Prince
* Hotel Grand
* On Air
* Dealer Principal
* Red Lord
* Danehill Smile
* Maslins Beach
* Turffontein
* Replicator
* Zavite
With many others and more to come, Anthony Cummings is a trainer of the future.
With the office of Diamond Thoroughbreds at Anthony's Randwick stables Anthony will be in direct contact with Diamond Thoroughbreds on a daily basis, reporting the progress of the syndicate racehorses, their immediate plans - be it a barrier trial or a race start - and their track work performances.
One
of the major contributing factors to a successful
organisation is its people. This is where Diamond
Thoroughbreds has been successful in adding Barry's
experience to their team. Barry has been stable foreman
and the primary track work rider for Anthony for over
14 years.
Born in the UK and raised by his farming
family in Ireland his first foray into the world of
thoroughbreds at the age of 14 was as an apprentice
with Melbourne Cup winning trainer Dermot Weld.
After a successful jumps
riding career in England, Barry moved to the USA for
5 years based at the famous Churchill Downs and Santa
Anita racecourses. Riding there for the legendary
Hall of Famer, Charlie Whittingham, furthered Barry's
career. Barry has gained invaluable worldwide experience
including a stint in Japan.
He brings huge value and depth to Diamond Thoroughbreds.
